5 ways lumineers can improve your smile

the cosmetic benefits of wearing lumineers

Are you sick and tired of hiding your smile because you don’t want people to see your teeth stains, chips and teeth misalignment? There is a solution. Lumineers can improve your smile by masking those imperfections and creating more uniformity with your smile. You don’t have to remove any tooth structure; you don’t need anesthesia to place in lumineers. Once lumineers are inside your mouth, you don’t have to worry about visible stains, chipping, misalignment of spaced teeth. It is simple. The lumineers get bonded to your teeth and stay secure.

On average, it takes only 2 visits to the dentist once the dentist knows if you are a candidate for the treatment. Staining and discoloration of teeth are the most common dental problems for people and lumineers can address the problem by giving you a long-lasting appearance of beautiful, white teeth — and it doesn’t matter what you eat or drink, lumineers will keep your smile white and aesthetically pleasing. Having lumineers put in is a non-invasive procedure and will help improve your confidence when you smile. How are lumineers made? The lumineers are made from porcelain and contoured into a shell to custom fit your teeth. The average lumineers can last at least 20 years.

You will have no worry about enamel removal when wearing lumineers and there is minimal discomfort after thew new installment of lumineers. During your first evaluation, the dentist will discuss with you the teeth in need of lumineers and make a decision on the best shade of white for your physical features. From there the dentist will take a mold of your teeth and send it off to the laboratory. The lumineers are placed on your teeth with special cement and there is no drilling or shots involved. On average it takes about one hour to complete the installation.

Keep in mind you will still need to keep up with your regular oral hygiene routine to maintain the health of your natural teeth. This oral hygiene routine will include brushing and flossing daily. You should also go for your routine dental check up every six months. If you are ready to improve your smile, Fatemi Family Dentistry is here to do it with our quality lumineers services.
